Here we have it – our most ambitious and complete project yet!

Introducing: Wet Sharpening Device – 250

Also goes by the name WSD – 250

As the name of the machine itself suggests, it is indeed a device designed to handle wet sharpening.

But not just any type of wet sharpening – We are stepping into the future, introducing wet sharpening also to the high-speed segment.

So – how does it actually work?

Well, somewhat simplified, we have managed this by combining fine, pressurized water mist with a seamless design on the overall machine components.

The complete solution that we provide makes it very easy to get started with the system – everything you need comes in the package, pre-calibrated, function-tested and as close to “plug n play” as it is possible to get.

Only wheels and other accessories (jigs, storage, abrasives, etc) are what you need to add separately.

Regarding the machine, everything is built to a very high industrial standard – which lays the foundation for precision work.

The machine body itself consists of anodized aluminum and precision machined stainless steel parts.

Holds a powerful 400W motor with speed control and sync belt technology, for high mechanical efficiency and minimal energy loss.

Variable speed 0-1000 RPM.

 

Details included with the machine (in addition to the mist cooling kit):

• A custom-made drip tray with associated control panel, for on/off function of mist cooling per wheel
• Two sets of lighting/laser guide sets – complete with goose necks and holders
• 1 x frontal vertical base and lifetime access to our associated software for precise calculation of grinding angles
• 1 x configurable 80 cm support bar
• 2 x side covers to mount on the wheel covers – these covers minimize the amount of water that enters from the sides during sharpening.
• 2 x rubber side covers with rail attachment – these slide seamlessly into rails on the underside of the drip tray, and minimizes water entering from the sides when the machine is configured for low speed use.
• Tools (such as allen key, for mounting the frontal vertical base/locking the mist nozzles in place)
