Our unique WA wheel series, designed to offer a cost-effective option without compromising on high efficiency.

Theese wheels features the exact same composition as our grinding wheels for serrations, but is now available in a full-size, flat-edge design.

Can be mounted straight out of the box onto any machine with a 12 mm shaft that accommodates wheels up to 50 mm wide.

Can be used both wet or dry.

This set contains 1 piece of #160, and 1 piece of #400 grit.

So, what is WA?

WA have a Mohs hardness rating of 9.0, making WA second only to diamond, CBN and silicon carbide. On specialized industrial scales, WA is harder than standard aluminium oxide, measuring roughly 2200-2400 kg/mm² on the Vickers scale compared to standard aluminium oxide typical 2000 kg/mm².

Another advantage of WA is its excellent self-sharpening capability compared to standard aluminium oxide. Under pressure WA continually expose fresh, razor-sharp cutting edges. WA also generates much less grinding heat than standard aluminium oxide.

WA is an excellent choise for precision grinding, tool sharpening, thread grinding, and is the better choise to standard aluminium oxide for heat-sensitive or hardened steels.
